Even with motion picture releases being delayed because of the pandemic, I had so numerous motion pictures to select from when I sat down to make a list of my favorites I didnt end up including them all. Heres the finest scary films I saw in 2020:

This was the scariest film I saw this year. The scary comes from how far they are prepared to go to keep their lives from falling apart.

This was the second scariest movie I enjoyed in 2020, and its ideal for a watch in winter when youre starting to get cabin fever. The Lodge is about two kids who prepare to spend the Christmas break with their papa and his brand-new sweetheart at the households remote lodge.

Its a cool principle and there are some pretty terrible scenes in this motion picture. Its an ideal scary film for transplants.

This is most likely the most underrated scary movie of 2020. This film is so funny and still manages to have a couple of good scares.

The Hunt

I believed this Netflix film was the very best Ive seen from the service. Its certainly not specifically a horror movie but its based on a gothic Daphne du Maurier book, so fans of vampire films will appreciate the vibes and everyone else will simply get drawn into the murder mystery. The plot centers on a servant who fulfills a rich widow while she accompanies her company on holiday. The two fall in love and go back to the widows large estate where the ghost of his ex-wife lingers.

The Dark and The Wicked

There is a scene in this movie that will probably live rent-free in my head until I die. If youre not a fan of gore, this movie probably isnt for you.
