There are more than 250 million clients with Epic electronic records and plans to introduce Epic EHR at 190 health systems worldwide in the fall of 2020. Epic sees around 5 to 10 innovative concepts from health systems per week, stated Ms. Faulkner, and desired to share those ideas. Ms. Faulkner expects the site will be upgraded regularly, similar to the short articles published on Epic Health Research Network, a journal released in the summertime of 2020 developed to quickly share understanding among medical experts.

Ms. Faulkner outlined her background and the benefits of utilizing client portals. She stated clients executives typically need to know what others are doing so they can reproduce it.
” We call that mimic to innovate,” said Ms. Faulkner. “What were saying is that its good to have a primary development officer, but you really require a primary imitation officer to see what others are doing and share.”
Epic sees around five to 10 imaginative ideas from health systems weekly, said Ms. Faulkner, and desired to share those ideas. The business is producing a site called EpicShare.org that is anticipated to introduce within the next month to share details for Epic and non-Epic users. Ms. Faulkner anticipates the website will be updated often, similar to the articles published on Epic Health Research Network, a journal introduced in the summer of 2020 created to rapidly share understanding amongst doctor.
During the podcast, Ms. Faulkner also touched on Epics objective to speed up claims processing. She also desires to help speed up claims processing and approval for needed surgical treatments by allowing payers and suppliers to share details about the client and communicate through the Epic systems.
