MSMA teamed up with HIE operator Konza Nationwide Network to release the Mississippi Health Access Exchange, which will enable clinicians to share patient info at the point of care and view patient data from getting involved service providers without needing to resort to fax.

MSMA is among the largest doctor advocacy companies in Mississippi with more than 5,000 physicians and medical trainee members.

The Mississippi State Medical Association on Nov. 4 developed an electronic health details exchange for providers to share patient records throughout the state.

Konza connects healthcare facilities, doctor practices and doctor nationwide, so taking part providers in Mississippi will have instant access to client data from large Mississippi health systems including Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, University of Mississippi Medical Center, Singing River Health System and Baptist Memorial Health Care.
