St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare prepares to postpone elective care at four of its health centers, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch..

The healthcare facilities impacted include 3 St. Louis-based medical facilities– Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Christian Hospital and Missouri Baptist Medical Center– and Memorial Hospital Belleville in Illinois.

The health system will begin rescheduling nonemergency surgeries that require inpatient or overnight beds Nov. 9. The procedures will be rescheduled until a minimum of Nov. 20, according to the report..
