10 cities with highest, lowest average physician compensation

Doximity gathered self-reported settlement survey information from more than 44,000 certified U.S. doctors who practice at least 40 hours a week. The report analyzes how compensation changed from 2019-20, examining patterns throughout cities, medical specialties, gender and employment type.

Ten city locations with the greatest average doctor settlement:.

Scientist discovered city locations with lower typical payment typically house more scholastic organizations and health systems, which can pay less than personal institutions.

Physicians saw a 1.5 percent average increase in pay between 2019 and 2020, a relatively low figure compared to the approximately 4 percent increases seen in previous years, according to Doximitys 2020 Physician Compensation Report.
