Amazon lengthened its work from house policy into next year, matching remote work assistance from Google and other huge tech companies, according to an Oct. 21 article.
The post checks out: “The health and wellness of our employees is our top priority, and it will be some time before things go back to regular. Accordingly, work that can effectively be done from house can continue to be done from home through June 30, 2021.”
The tech giant began permitting headquarters workers to work from house in March and in July set a return-to-office date of January 2021, according to The Seattle Times. The company updated its assistance to further extend remote work capabilities during the pandemic, which aligns with other huge tech business.
On Sept. 23, Google announced plans to execute a work-from-home hybrid model, soon after extending its full remote work alternatives through July 2021. The company found 62 percent of staff members who filled out a survey desired to return to the workplace at some time, however not every day. Twitter and Facebook are allowing some team member to completely work from home.
