Rite Aid COO Jim Peters described the revamp, which is named Rx Evolution, stating it will be formally released in the coming weeks. During the conference, he stated the new method “elevates pharmacists as the daily weapon utilized by suppliers and health strategies to help keep members and clients linked to their care groups, adherent to their medications, familiar with their care gaps and educated– even informed– on a wider spectrum of remedies that go well beyond standard medicines.”.

Rite Aid is pivoting toward a new brand technique that showcases its pharmacists as supporters for patients general health and health care journey, the retail pharma giant announced Oct. 14 throughout the HLTH VRTL 2020 conference.

Mr. Peters said Rx Evolution will guarantee routine jobs like filling pill bottles will be scheduled generally for drug store professionals so that pharmacists can adopt a more interactive role and engage with patients who are in the shop. Pharmacists will engage with clients to point out alternative treatments that could be an useful addition to their basic care, recommendations that might be of fantastic interest to the rebrands target market, gen-x and millennial females, who comprise about half of retail drugstore clients.
