Renown Health names new VP of pharmacy

Dr. Porath signed up with Renown Healths pharmacy team in 2006 and has functioned as its interim director of pharmacy since June. Throughout his time at Renown Health, he has led strategy for drug store operations, supervise drug store quality control, taught pharmacy students and homeowners, advocated for company development and developed new medical pharmacy services.

Dr. Porath, who received his physician of pharmacy degree from Pocatello-based Idaho State University in 2006, is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and ambulatory care pharmacist who also has certifications in cardiology. He works as adjunct medical faculty at numerous pharmacy colleges and has actually been released in numerous peer-reviewed journals.

In his new function, Dr. Porath will work as the head of the health systems scientific pharmacy and pharmacy operations.
