The social media giant already restricts ads with misinformation and ads with vaccine hoaxes that have been openly determined international health organizations including the CDC and the World Health Organization. With its newest policy, which is set to go into impact over the next few days, Facebook will reject any ads that clearly prevent somebody from getting a vaccine.

Facebook released a brand-new international policy Oct. 13 that forbids advertisements that prevent people from getting vaccinated for the seasonal flu, COVID-19 and other illness.
In addition to the brand-new ad policy, Facebook is also releasing a new flu vaccine info campaign to help people discover the closest area to get the vaccine along with pointers and resources from health authorities.

In a company post, Facebook stated its goal is “to assist messages about the security and efficacy of vaccines reach a broad group of people, while prohibiting advertisements with misinformation that might hurt public health efforts.”.
