The president broke the news on Twitter right before 1 a.m. ET Friday.

On Thursday night, the president told Fox News Sean Hannity that both he and the very first girl had actually gotten checked following Hicks medical diagnosis.

Hours prior to Trump tweeted out his results, it was validated that Hope Hicks, one of Trumps close advisers, had checked favorable for the coronavirus. Hicks had taken a trip with him to both Tuesdays debate and to a rally in Minnesota the next day.

” The President and First Lady are both well at this time, and they plan to stay at house within the White House during their convalescence,” Conley said in the memo. He included that the White House medical group would “keep an alert watch.”
