Pfizer’s generics arm partners with online pharmacy Ro

Online drug store shipment service Ro partnered with Pfizers generics arm to include two of the drugmakers generics into the telehealth startups portfolio, according to STAT.

Through its freshly released $5-per-month prescription drug shipment program, Ro will now supply generic versions of Pfizers cholesterol drug Lipitor and high blood pressure drug Norvasc. The two drugs being contributed to Ros portfolio of almost 500 generic drugs are authorized generics, suggesting they are produced by the exact same producer who makes the brand-name version.
