Intermountain to add Idaho physician group

Saltzer Health utilizes 39 doctors and 39 innovative practice providers serving at 8 Idaho places. Intermountain is a 24-hospital not-for-profit health system with about 2,500 doctors and advanced practice suppliers in Idaho, Utah and Nevada.

John Kaiser, MD, vice president and CMO of Saltzer Health, echoed Dr. Harrison in the release, saying the arrangement “will make it possible for Saltzer Health to much better serve clients throughout our neighborhood.”.

Saltzer Health, a physician group based in Nampa, Idaho, is joining Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, the health system announced Sept. 29.

Ball Ventures Ahlquist, a business development and strategic capital investment joint endeavor, currently owns the medical group. Under the plan, Saltzer Health is anticipated to join Intermountain on Oct. 1.
