Beaumont starts building 4-story outpatient center

Southfield, Mich.-based Beaumont Health has begun building on a four-story ambulatory care facility, according to Hometown Life..

The center will remain in Livonia, Mich., according to the report..

” Hospitals will always be there, but we understand communities are informing us … we need to offer these extra types of care,” Beaumont Health COO Carolyn Wilson told Hometown Life. “So for us, were wanting to be, in a great deal of ways, a one-stop shop.”.

The structure will house a broad range of services, including medical care, emergency care, outpatient surgery and some cancer and occupational services..
Beaumont said it hopes the new center will offer residents access to a broader series of services in a one location..
