Google reported service disturbance on Sept. 24 that impacted its email, YouTube and Google documents functions, according to The New York Times.

1. The failure lasted for a little bit more than an hour and was concentrated on the East Coast. The failure began around 8:50 p.m. EDT.
2. Google is examining the failure and has not given a reason for the disruption, however said it wasnt a cyberattack, according to the Times report.
3. Googles cloud computing service, videoconferencing and Google Calendar were also impacted by the failure.
4. All systems were restored to regular function before 10 p.m. EDT.
