24 COVID-19 cases linked to outbreak at Carilion Roanoke

Twenty-four environmental services staff members at Carilion Roanoke (Va.) Memorial Hospital recently tested favorable for COVID-19, a representative verified to Beckers Hospital Review.

The spokesperson, Chris Turnbull, said this break out apparently stemmed from neighborhood spread, and the hospital is investigating.

” This scenario is a good reminder that it is seriously crucial to take the correct safety measures both inside and beyond work,” he included a statement to Beckers.
