Columbus-based Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center partnered with technology-powered main care organization One Medical as part of the systems digital improvement.
4 things to know:
1. On Sept. 9, the two organizations announced strategies to collaborate on providing central Ohio residents access to One Medicals medical care model, that includes seamless access to Ohio States network of experts, ambulatory centers and medical facilities.
2. One Medical is a membership-based design that supplies on-demand telehealth and in-person care all the time. The business has direct-to-consumer subscription and 7,000 company sponsored subscriptions.
3. OSU Wexner Medical Center and One Medical aim to enhance medical combination through their new partnership, which marks One Medicals entry into the Columbus, Ohio, location. The company expects getting in the Austin, Texas, Raleigh-Durham, N.C., and eastern Wisconsin markets in the future.
4. CEO of OSU Wexner Medical Center Hal Paz, MD, stated this partnership is the systems “essential next step” in broadening its outpatient technique and increasing digital healthcare services.
