CloudMD buys 7-location rehab clinic in Canada: 4 notes

Telehealth company CloudMD accepted obtain a seven-clinic rehab network on Aug. 24.

1. CloudMD strategies to buy Re: Function Health Group, which has 7 centers and 35 experts and allied health specialists in British Columbia. When the acquisition is total, CloudMD will have 14 centers serving about 500,000 patients.
2. After the acquisition, CloudMD said it plans to present a suite of innovation solutions, an integrated telehealth platform and EHR software application to Re: Function clinics. CloudMD stated its existing members will have access to the Re: Function specialists.
3. The creators of Re: Function will sign up with CloudMDs board and lead the expansion of the companys allied health services throughout North America.
4. Re: Function centers created about $5.8 million in revenue in 2015. CloudMD consented to purchase 100 percent of outstanding securities and pay investors an aggregate factor to consider of about $6 million.
