Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health purchased a behavioral health innovation company as part of a strategic partnership to supply customized behavioral health and wellness services to patients and staff members.

1. The nonprofit health system entered into a strategic collaboration with Synchronous Health, a business that utilizes expert system to increase access to behavioral health services. The 2 organizations will co-develop behavioral health and well-being solutions.
2. Adventist currently utilizes Synchronous existing innovation to offer access to behavioral health services for its 37,000 partners during the pandemic as well as around 2 million older grownups in the neighborhood.
3. Adventist initially released Synchronous in April, and it took 10 days to execute. In July, the health system released its wellness program for older grownups with Synchronous.
4. The companys exclusive AI platform, called Karla, sets users with therapists and delivers accuracy training assistance between sessions.
5. This investment by Adventist is part of its 10-year transformation method that aims to bring community well-being enhancement options to the forefront.
