The 2 organizations started a cardiovascular surgical treatment collaboration in January. The most current agreement adds extensive pediatric cardiology services to the existing cooperation and intends to improve care for children with genetic heart disease.

Childrens Minnesota and Mayo Clinic will share talent and resources to enhance pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgical treatment services.

Minneapolis-based Kids Minnesota and Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic participated in a pediatric cardiology collaboration this month.

” This cooperation makes it possible for Childrens Minnesota and Mayo Clinic doctors to deal with increased varieties of clients with serious or complex medical conditions, with the goal to improve outcomes for our most susceptible patients,” stated Marc Gorelick, MD, president and CEO of Childrens Minnesota.
