Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System CEO tests positive for COVID-19

Hutchinson (Kan.) Regional Healthcare System CEO Ken Johnson has checked positive for COVID-19, health center officials announced Aug. 17 in a news release supplied to Beckers Hospital Review.

Mr. Johnson is operating at home while in quarantine and said he anticipates a full healing with a return to work soon.

” Although not needed, I chose to interact my experience with the coronavirus to better notify the community of the processes and standards that we stick to at Hutchinson Regional for your security and ours,” Mr. Johnson said in the news release.

Mr. Johnson reported he had contact with an infected relative and immediately checked and self-quarantined after learning more about his direct exposure, the authorities said. He has likewise reportedly alerted the health department and highlighted that clients, visitors, staff members and providers of the health center are safe.
