Wentworth-Douglass Hospital was able to continue emergency procedures after the sanitation equipment stopped working since regional health centers assisted with sanitizing operating room tools, according to the report..

If the equipment needed to be changed, a health center representative told Fosters that dozens of surgical treatments were delayed as the healthcare facility identified. The hospital is changing the devices and expects to restart treatments by the week of Aug. 24..
