This discrepancy might be because of predisposition versus ladies operating in mainly male practices, the authors suggested. Ladies might also have less bargaining power in these settings, they stated.

Medical practices that use more male doctors likewise have a larger pay gap in between ladies and guys, a research study released in The BMJ found.

Scientist analyzed salary information from 18,802 U.S. physicians from 9,848 group practices between 2014 and 2018.
