‘Here on our campus, we have to test everybody,’ for coronavirus, St. Jude CEO says

St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., evaluates all on-campus clients, their member of the family and all team member for COVID-19, amounting to 6,000 weekly tests, CEO James Downing, MD, told local news station WMC.

St. Judes screening strategy likewise consists of contact tracing. He stated the hospitals contact-tracing team assists recognize, test and isolate those possibly positive for COVID-19.

” We are evaluating everybody. No signs? They get checked once a week,” Dr. Downing informed the TELEVISION station. “We are discovering that half of those being positive for the virus in fact have no symptoms whatsoever. So here on our campus, we need to evaluate everyone.”.
