In Kalamazoo, Shakespeares Pub on E. Kalamazoo Avenue near N. Pitcher Street chose to close until at least Tuesday after one of its employees came into contact with someone who checked positive for the virus. The bar said in a Saturday Facebook post that none of its workers had checked favorable, but it was acting out of an abundance of caution and would be cleaning whatever.
Signs on the front door Sunday checked out, “The BOB is presently closed. We hope to see you really quickly!”
The worker has mild signs, the place states. That person might have gotten the virus as early as June 11 at Gillys Smokehouse or BOBs Beer Garden, both of which belong to the location at Monroe Avenue and Fulton Street.
All the workers who had contact with the infected individual are getting tested.
