Chase checking account balance off? Bank says technical issue was to blame – USA TODAY

If the balance on your Chase checking account was inaccurate late Saturday or early Sunday, you werent alone.
Chase consumers across the nation posted on social media about discovering errors in their accounts, consisting of incorrect charges and lost funds.
In a tweet Sunday, Chase stated a technical concern was to blame which it was resolved as of 9 a.m. Eastern time.
” We know some clients reporting seeing incorrect balances in their bank account over night. This was brought on by a technical issue that postponed updates on what shown on Chase Mobile & & Chase Online,” Chase said in a declaration on Twitter. “We resolved this problem since 9AM ET and accounts now reveal existing balances.”

On Sunday early morning, there was an alert on the Chase mobile banking screen that said parts of the app werent readily available, Newsweek reported.
” Parts of the app arent readily available today. Please try once again later on,” the alert said. “Thanks for your patience.”.
Chase Bank is a subsidiary of banking giant JPMorgan Chase.
