HOUSTON– H-E-B is limiting the purchase of particular products in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the company. The items include toilet tissue, paper towels, hand sanitizer, hand soap and some medicines.
The business stated restricting product purchases is a proven method to ensure the finest service and item accessibility for all consumers. The following products are restricted per shopping trip.
” To assist protect the supply chain in Texas, weve executed short-lived purchase limits on certain items,” H-E-B wrote in a press release. “Our stores remain in strong supply and we continue to restock items daily.”

Bath tissue singles– limit 2.
Paper towels– limitation 2.
Acetaminophen– 2 items overall (includes trial, travel and infant sizes, OTC).
H-E-B Acid Controller/Famotidine and Pepcid 50ct and larger– Limit 1.
H-E-B Acid Controller/Famotidine and Pepcid smaller than 50ct– Limit 2.
Disinfecting & & anti-bacterial sprays– 2 items.
Disinfecting & & anti-bacterial wipes– 2 products.
Trial and travel size disinfecting & & antibacterial sprays/wipes– 2 items.
Hand sanitizer– 10 products.
Hand soap– 4 products.
Hydrogen peroxide– 2 products.
Rubbing (Isopropyl) Alcohol/swabs– 2 items.
Emergency Treatment and Cleaning Gloves– 2 items.
